You were made for MORE. It’s time to EMBRACE the dreams God has placed on your heart.
Deep Down, you can feel it— there’s something greater stirring in your heart.
Those dreams, desires and gentle nudges you keep brushing aside? They’re not random. They have been planted there with purpose.
It’s time to stop playing small, and start leaning into the calling God has placed for your life.
Too often, we silence the stirrings because of fear, doubt or belief that we’re not “ready”. But the truth is, there is never a “perfect” time to start. Remember, God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the called. That dream that keeps pressing on your heart is a glimpse of the purpose you were designed to walk in.
You were not created to settle or shrink back. You were created to shine, to grow, to impact, and move forward in BOLD faith, even when things feel uncertain. By silencing the quiet stir, you man never fully discover what God has in store for you.
Sometimes, people ask me how and WHY I choose to live the way I do today. And here’s the honest truth: it was pain that pushed me to make a change.
Truth being told, life has a way of teaching us lessons we didn’t ASK for. And sometimes, we don’t fully learn them until we hit our own version of rock bottom. For me, that moment arrived when the pain of staying stuck in my destructive habits became unbearable. At that point, any discomfort that came from change was outweighed by the insanity I was living through each day.
I realized that I had to choose a different path— a journey of growth that would be long, challenging and humbling, but ultimately rewarding.
You don’t have to wait for “rock bottom” before you decide to change, but in my case, it’s what pushed ME to change. This is partially why I began waking up early, exercising regularly, planning my weeks intentionally, and diving deeper into my relationship with God. It all came from my decision to live life differently.
I realized if I was going to do this, I wanted to be ALL in. No more ignoring the quiet whispers in my heart, and no more waiting for the perfect moment. I knew that in order to get to where I wanted to be, I would have to make some serious changes in my day-to-day life.
So when someone asks, “why do you wake up at 5:30?” or “how come you exercise at the crack of dawn?” My answer is simple: Because I have to. This is is how I keep moving forward, and this is how I keep growing. Each day I wake up with a very strong WHY, and it keeps me driven.
Life gives us many paths, and all of them come with challenges. I decided to choose my hard– a path that’s far from easy, but one that’s infinitely better than the constant cycle of insanity I was living in.
God has been my constant through it all, and I’m forever grateful for who HE is. No matter what changes in life, I can find peace knowing that He’s the same yesterday, today and forever. Even in my most difficult seasons, He has not only helped me to survive, but also helped me to THRIVE.
I’ve started many little “business” projects over the past 8 years. Some of them stuck, others have not. However, they have all lead me to the destination I’m in today. None of them were a waste of my time.
From this journey, God gave me the vision to create the RISE + FLOURISH collective– a space where women are empowered to embrace their gifts, deepen in their faith, and elevate every aspect of their lives. I’m so grateful for the journey, the lessons, and the grace to keep pressing forward.
Surrendering to God’s plan isn’t always easy… but it’s a beautiful act of faith. There are moments where you truly just have to let go and let God take the wheel, while trusting that He knows what He’s doing.
It’s in those moments of surrender that we learn to rely on God like never before, creating a closeness that deepens your faith. Surrender doesn’t weaken us— it shapes us and strengthens our trust in His perfect plan.
And here’s another truth: There’s no such things as the “perfect” time.
I remember for the longest time, I had wanted to learn to make sourdough. But I kept putting it off because I just didn’t have the time. But I quickly realized that my schedule wasn’t magically going to slow down anytime soon. So I decided to start right where I was, and see what happened.
And guess what? I learned! Learning to make all things sourdough has been so much fun, and I’m so grateful that I stopped stalling and started learning. Through my sourdough journey, I was reminded of something so important:
Yes, starting sourdough and pursuing a God-given dream are totally different. But when you really think about it, the same principle applies.
Both require stepping outside of your comfort zone, experiencing trial and error, and staying committed to the process even if it’s messy.
In conclusion…
Waiting for the “right moment” to start usually just leads to more waiting. Life will always be busy and the circumstances may never feel 100% ideal. You may not feel fully “ready”. The key is to just START– take baby steps if you have to. Just move in the direction God is calling you!
Whether it’s learning a new skill, launching that business, or pursuing something that’s been placed on your heart for a while… just start! It’s okay if you don’t have all the answers right away– growth happens in the doing, not just the planning.
The only regrets you’ll have are not starting and wondering what “could have been” if you had.
Take the step. Say YES. Trust God with the rest, and watch what unfolds.
